She’s talking about majors here…
If you know the rule of the scales, you’ll know which sharp that is.
The rule is:
Whole note Whole note Whole note Semi tone Whole note Whole note Whole note Semi tone
So if we start at C Major
You’ll find that we don’t have any sharps #
coz it’s
C D E F G A B C
C – WN
D – WN
E – WN
F – ST
G – WN
A – WN
B – WN
C – ST

She is teaching …
She is teaching scales. C scale D scale. From there you go up a whole, whole, half, whole, whole, whole, half. Half is the sharp which is the black key to the right of the key. F sharp would be the black key to the right of F. The two white keys next to each other before and after D are also considered half because there is no black key between them.

Some constructive criticism. You are not teaching about sheet music but just the different scales. And if some beginner is watching this do not use such Words as Semitones. They won’t understand it. But yeah good work on explaining the 5′Rule and the Increasing sharps.

go to a music store and buy a level one piano book, seriously it doesn’t cost that much and if you’re consistent with it and practice you’ll get it easy peazy.
Not necessarily, …
Not necessarily, every key has a sharp, including B and E. When you add “sharp” to the end of a key, it just means the key directly to the right of that key. For most keys that’s a black key, but for B it’s just C. And for E it’s just F. Because for those two keys there is no black key separating them.
