Hi. This is Requiem for a Dream “difficult version” for piano. I made the same version played by Alex:

To play these MIDI files I recommend you very helpful software – “Synthesia”

That software allow you to see which keys are pressed while playing (Even you can choose highlight color), make it slow down, etc.
ADVICE
To get full highlighted keyboard in Synthesia you have to switch “Input device” to other device than “Synthesia Software Keyboard”.

for those who dont understand jingeshan, that person is saying there should be one universal part like the original, instead of changing it up and adding too many things to water the center piece down. for instance cello with violin and a touch of viola would sound great. but this pianic version combinds too many parts to water it down. bannana juice compliments strawberry juice, but butter milk extinguishes the goodness..

the one who wrote this cover tried to involve as many instrument covers as possible instead of having one single flowing melody….. and those who understand will understand what i mean…
nope… its a clint …
nope… its a clint mansell theme. and the op 28 no 15 doesnt even get the feeling of this one, that one is much more soothing. the one that might be similar in intention to this theme (which is not called requiem but lux aeterna – eternal light -) is the opus 28 no 6.
