Need Jazz piano sheet music for free?

Author: ive been playing piano for eight years and im fifteen and i have to do a graded school performance any suggestions on some difficult jazz piano peices that you can find free sheet music for would be great

I doubt there is very much jazz in public domain
and it is NOT legal to download copyright music without paying the copyright owner
that violates the copyright laws

Don’t know where you will get any music free. You could find one of the swap sites. When you ask for jazz music you are asking for something that by definition does not exist. Jazz is literally taking a piece of music and virtually doing your own arrangement of it as you go. Any of George Gershwin’s music is good for this as he had a magic talent for writing in such a way that you can play it any way you like and it will still sound good. what you need to do is select a piece that you like and practise it with yor own variations in time and chords. The better knowledge you have of chords the better jazz you will play. A good way for a beginner to start is to play basic chords in the left hand and vary the type of chord by adding different notes in the right. Also you should familiarise yourself with the sounds of different types of chords so that you will instantly be able to find the sound you are looking for. The answer is practice, practice and more practice. Keep at it and the very best of luck
