Is there somewhere I can buy popular piano sheet music without buying a whole book of songs? Better yet, is there somewhere I can get free sheet music?

ok well i want to learn how to play tears don’t fall by bullet for me valentine on guitar. they don’t have any sheet music stores around me so i was wondering if there was a site that has free and you don’t have to download anything. i tried googling it but no luck.

Try using a guitar tab…look up "Tears Don’t Fall Bullet for My Valentine tab" on Google.

i really want a piano keyboard with all the keys on it that you can play and on the computer it creates sheet music? like you would push a c note and the computer would put a c note on the sheet music for you then you can print out your piece. any ideas. links? please help thank you!

It’s not the keyboard – it’s the software it is connected to. I use Sibelius and Finale almost DAILY in my work, to arrange music – and often enter via keyboard. You can even us a short, SILENT keyboard, called a MIDI controller – the sound comes from your computer’s sound card.

If you go to the FINALE site, you can look over the various products. NOTEPAD is the cheapest, but doe NOT allow MIDI keyboard note entry. http://www.finalemusic.com/SongWriter/ Finale Songwriter is the cheapest at $49.95 that allows this. HOWEVER – chances are, you can get this even cheaper from a reseller – NOT form Finale themselves.

You will a keyboard – any one with MIDI outputs will do, unless you are really pianist, and want something you can PLAY – and you will need an interface cable. Go shop at www.musiciansfriend.com – the cable interface will run around $30, and the keyboard- that’s up to you. If you really ARE a pianist – then we can have another conversation or – or you can the already-answered questions – I have given keyboard advice HUNDREDS of times – heck,m I own FIVE – and a Steinway grand.

Good luck – this is the BEST thing on the planet! Where was this when I was getting Masters degree in Music Theory – I had to write it ALL by hand!

Here’s a little tutorial for anyone who has ever wanted to be able to play this song on the piano. I know it may be a little fast for outright beginners, and confusing for everyone, and im sorry for that. Don’t give up though, do the best you can, and if all else fails buy the music (link is below)

I am COMPLETELY aware that this is NOT the official lullaby && it’s by YIRUMA. This one is NOT in the movie(s) and is not associated with Twilight, really. I just thought that it would go good with it and considering it was the rumored lullaby at that moment, I figured I’d make a video. BUT THE ACTUAL ARTIST IS YIRUMA.

(Speaking of which, this video was not meant to be “good” or anything. It’s a picture of the cover. That’s it. This ‘video’ is meant strictly to listen to the song.)

“When I read the manuscript midnight sun, the section where edward talks about writing the song, this is the song that I heard in my head but could not place. It follows almost exactly to the t how edward describes it. How it starts off sad because hes in love with her and can’t have her and then how it picks up because he is happy anyways and she makes him feel again. Then how the song sort of dwindles into a sad ending because he knows that she can’t stay and be with him because of what he is and that she is a mortal. Its perfect, even though I do like the lullaby that was in the movie.”
